31 Persei is a star in the constellation Perseus. Its apparent magnitude is 5.03. Located around 172 parsecs (560 ly) distant, it is an blue main-sequence star of spectral type B5V,[1] a massive star that is currently fusing its core hydrogen. The star is a member of the Alpha Persei Cluster of stars.[1]
