27 Arietis is the Flamsteed designation for a star in the northern constellation of Aries. It is close to the limit of what can be viewed with the naked eye with an apparent visual magnitude is 6.23.[2] The annual parallax shift of 11.30 ± 0.50 mas[1] corresponds to a physical distance of approximately 289 light-years (89 parsecs) from Earth. The stellar classification of G5 III-IV[3] matches the spectral of an evolved subgiant or giant star.
