247Sports.com is a network of websites that focus mainly on college football and basketball recruiting.
History
The network was started in 2010, and has been cited as a source by other sports news media, including Bleacher Report,[2] the Dallas Morning News[3] and the Washington Post.[4] The site has also provided special reports on recruiting to sports news media including Sports Illustrated.[5]
On November 28, 2012 CBSSports.com and 247Sports.com, formed a partnership based in part around the latter's content. 247Sports.com provides material to CBSSports.com and became an official partner of the site.[6][7]
In May 2013, the company signed a long-term agreement to become the official online selection partner of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl and the U.S. Army National Combine, replacing its competitor Rivals.com.[8]
