21541 Friskop (1998 QP16) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on August 17, 1998 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research Team at Socorro. 21541 Friskop was discovered 1998 Aug. 17 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research Team at Socorro. It was named after Andrew John Friskop (b. 1987) who was awarded first place and Best in Category in the 2005 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair for his botany project. He attends the Hankinson High School, Hankinson, North Dakota, U.S.A.
