20 Years Queer is a short concert tour by American/Scottish alternative rock group Garbage, to mark the twentieth anniversary of their debut album Garbage.[1] The title also references the band's early single "Queer", and announcement poster is redolent of the albums famed bright pink feather artwork.[2]
The commemorative tour was initially announced with shows in Paris and London, and is expected to travel to a number of cities worldwide.[1] Garbage will perform the album in its entirety ("From the very top ["Supervixen"], to the very bottom ["Milk"])[3] as well as b-sides recorded during that period ("Alien Sex Fiend", "Girl Don't Come", "#1 Crush", etc. etc.")[3]
Upon the announcement of the tour, Shirley Manson stated: "This is the album that started everything for us and we look back on it with great fondness. It’s been really great to revisit these songs whilst working on new material – interesting to see how the essence of the band remains strong as we evolve".[4]
