The 2018 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship will be the 42nd World Junior Ice Hockey Championship. It will be hosted in a yet to be determined city or cities in the United States.[1] It begins on December 26, 2017, and will end with the gold medal game being played on January 5, 2018. This marks the 6th time that the United States has hosted the WJHC.
