The 2016 World Figure Skating Championships will be an international figure skating competition in the 2015–16 season. Figure skaters will compete for the title of World champion in men's singles, ladies' singles, pairs, and ice dancing. The city of Boston was announced as the host in June 2013.[1] TD Garden will serve as the official event venue. The event will also determine the number of slots for the 2017 World Figure Skating Championships.
Number of entries per discipline
Based on the results of the 2015 World Championships, each ISU member nation can field one to three entries per discipline.
