The 2015 Great Lakes Premier League season will be the 103rd season of FIFA-sanctioned soccer in the United States, and the first season of the GLPL. The season begins in May 2015.

Format

A double-round robin format will be used by the league.

Formation

Having been denied as expansion clubs by the National Premier Soccer League, AFC Ann Arbor and Grand Rapids FC entered discussions with other regional teams about starting up a league of their own. The first league meeting occurred on Saturday, January 17th 2015 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Two weeks later, the league announced a starting line-up of five clubs.
