The 2015 FIBA Under-19 World Championship will be hosted by Crete in June 2015.[1] It is the third time that Greece will host the FIBA Under-19 World Championship since 1995 in Athens, when Greece won the gold medal, and 2003 in Thessaloniki, when Greece captured the third place. In 2009 the organization of Auckland, New Zealand, the Greek team was second. Alongside from 1 October 2014 to competitions of FIBA will use replay for controversial phases, and players will be able to wear jerseys with numbers from "00" up to "99".[2]
