2015 Buffalo Bills season
The 2015 Buffalo Bills season will be the franchise's upcoming 46th season in the National Football League, 56th season of play, and first under new head coach Rex Ryan.
The Bills will begin their season with a new starting quarterback as Kyle Orton, who led the team for most of the 2014 campaign, retired at the end of that season; EJ Manuel, who started most of the 2013 and part of the 2014 seasons, is the frontrunner to regain the starter position and will compete with free-agent hire Tyrod Taylor and trade acquisition Matt Cassel for the post. The team will also enter the season with a new head coach, as Doug Marrone, who coached the two previous seasons, resigned to take advantage of a contract loophole, and Rex Ryan, who previously spent the past six seasons coaching the division-rival New York Jets, fills the position.[1] The team will attempt to improve on 2014's 9–7 record and break a fifteen-year playoff drought, the league's longest active drought. It will also be the first full season under the ownership of Kim and Terrence Pegula, who purchased the team partway through 2014.

- Notes
- The Bills currently do not have a selection in the first- or fourth-rounds as a result of a trade that sent their first-round selection (No. 19 overall), fourth-round selection (No. 115 overall) and their 2014 first-round selection to the Cleveland Browns in exchange for the Browns' 2014 first-round selection.
- The Bills acquired a fourth-round selection — No. 113 overall — in a trade that sent wide receiver Stevie Johnson to the San Francisco 49ers. The Bills later traded this selection to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for running back Bryce Brown.
- The Bills acquired a fifth-round selection — No. 137 overall — as part of a trade that sent their 2014 seventh-round selection to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bills later traded this selection and their 2016 seventh-round selection to the Minnesota Vikings in exchange for Matt Cassel and the Vikings' 2015 sixth-round selection (No. 188 overall).
