The 2015 2. deild karla (English: Men's Second Division) is the 50th season of third-tier football in Iceland. Twelve teams will contest the league. Play begins on 9 May and concludes on 19 September.[1]
Teams
The league will be contested by twelve clubs, eight of which played in the division during the 2014 season. There are four new clubs from the previous campaign:
- KV and Tindastóll were relegated from the 2014 1. deild karla, replacing Fjarðabyggð and Grótta who were promoted to the 2015 1. deild karla
- Höttur and Leiknir F. were promoted from the 2014 3. deild karla, in place of Völsungur and Reynir S. who were relegated to the 2015 3. deild karla

Rules for classification:
1) points; 2) goal difference; 3) number of goals scored
(C) = Champion; (R) = Relegated; (P) = Promoted; (E) = Eliminated; (O) = Play-off winner; (A) = Advances to a further round.
Only applicable when the season is not finished:
(Q) = Qualified to the phase of tournament indicated; (TQ) = Qualified to tournament, but not yet to the particular phase indicated; (RQ) = Qualified to the relegation tournament indicated; (DQ) = Disqualified from tournament.
Results
Each team plays every opponent once home and away for a total of 22 matches per club, and 132 matches altogether.
