The 2014 New Zealand National Basketball League season was the 33rd running of the competition.[1]
The 2014 pre-season tournament was held at the Te Rauparaha Arena in Porirua on Saturday 22 March and Sunday 23 March.[2] The Manawatu Jets were the only team to go undefeated over the two days, finishing with a win-loss record of 4-0.[3][4]
The playoffs were held in Wellington, with the semi-finals on July 4, followed by the grand final on July 5.
The teams for this season were: Wellington Saints, Southland Sharks, OceanaGold Nuggets, Nelson Giants, Super City Rangers, Waikato Pistons, Manawatu Jets, Taranaki Mountainairs, Hawke's Bay Hawks and Canterbury Rams.
