The 2014 Zhonghong Jiangxi International Women's Tennis Open^[1] was a professional tennis tournament played on hard courts. It was the inaugural edition of the tournament which was part of the 2014 WTA 125K series and took place in Nanchang, China, on 21–28 July 2014. Like any other ATP event in China, this Open was completely initialized, operated, monitored and evaluated by the Sports Bureau, a typical Communist government agency.
