Transfers

Summer

Torino began the summer transfer window early, signing Swedish international Pontus Jansson in late April on a free transfer. In May, the option to purchase Nikola Maksimović definitively from Red Star Belgrade was exercised after his impressive performance for the club in 2013–14. League topscorer, Ciro Immobile, who was under co-ownership between Torino and Juventus was sold to Borussia Dortmund for a fee of €19.8 million, with €11.8 million going to Torino.[1]

Venezuelan youngster Josef Martinez arrived from BSC Young Boys for a fee of €3 million, while on 15 June, Cristian Molinaro signed a one year deal with the club after arriving on a free transfer from Parma. On 19 June, Torino activated a buyout clause for Omar El Kaddouri to arrive in co-ownership agreement, but on 21 June Napoli repurchased the player.

Rules for classification: 1) points; 2) head-to-head points; 3) head-to-head goal difference; 4) goal difference; 5) number of goals scored; 6) draw. (Head-to-head record is applied for clubs with the same amount of points only once all matches between said clubs have been played.)
Notes:
  1. Since both finalists of the 2014–15 Coppa Italia, Juventus and Lazio, currently qualify for European competition based on league position, the spot awarded to the cup winner (Europa League group stage) is passed to the fifth placed team and the spot originally meant for the fifth placed team (Europa League third qualifying round) is given to the sixth-placed team.
