The 2014–15 season is Liverpool's 123rd season in existence, and their 52nd consecutive season in the top flight of English football. It's also the club's 23rd consecutive season in the Premier League. Along with the Premier League, the club will also compete in the FA Cup, League Cup, and the UEFA Champions League, where the Reds will return for the first time since the 2009–10 season.
