The 1984 season of the Tonga Major League, previously known as the Lion Shield, Tongatapu Inter Club Championship and Tonga Club Championship, was the twenty second recorded season of top flight association football competition in Tonga, with the results of any competitions that took place between 1972 and 1981, 1986-97 unknown and no play in 2010.[1] Lotoha'apai United won the championship, their fourteenth recorded championship and third in a row.[1]
