The 2012 OIA Football Season is the 72nd HHSAA football season for the Oahu Interscholastic Association. Comprising 23 member schools, the season started on 10 August 2012 and will end with the HHSAA State Championship Game on November 23.
Previous Season
The 2011 OIA Champions were the Kahuku High School Red Raiders (5-1; 12-1) for the OIA-Red and the Waipahu High School Marauders (6-2; 9-3) for the OIA White.
In the post season HHSAA Championship, Kahuku went on to beat the Punahou Buffnblu of the ILH to win the 2011 HHSAA State Division I Championship. Waipahu lost the Division II Title Game to the Iolani Raiders of the ILH.
Division Realignment
Every 2 years, the Oahu Interscholastic Association realigns football teams based on 2-year performance. Although most teams follow the OIA's recommendation, some schools opt to remain in their division. Pearl City High School petitioned to remain in White despite earning a 15-7 record. Pearl City was due to replace Kapolei High School in the OIA Red-West division. Kalaheo High School was also to be promoted to the OIA Red-East (Division I) but petitioned to remain in the White Division (Division II) after a 2-6 2011 season. Kalaheo was due to replace Castle High School.

The 2012 HUB Goodwill Foundation Senior Bowl was the Oahu Interscholastic Association and Interscholastic League of Honolulu's all-star game for the 2012 season. It took place at 7:00PM local time on Friday, November 30, 2012 at Kunuiakea Stadium on the Kapalama, HI campus of Kamehameha Schools. The West defeated the East, 21-20.
The Senior Bowl featured 100 seniors from all but one Oahu high school. The East team was coached by Randall Okimoto of the Farrington Governors while David Stant of the Kamehameha-Kapalama Warriors led the West. Farrington, Kahuku, and Kamehameha led the selections with 10 players each. St. Louis was the only school with no selections.
