The 2012 Gippsland Football League season commences on 14 April and concludes on 22 September 2012.
It is the 13th season of the Gippsland Football League (GFL) competition, and is the first season since 2009 where there has been no change in the number of clubs competing in the league.
On September 22, Sale Football Club won the 2012 Premiership against local rival Maffra by 56 points at the Morwell Recreation Reserve
