Review and events

On 15 June 2012, Ricardo Moniz resigned as manager of Red Bull Salzburg.[1] Piet Hamberg was the caretaker manager while the club searched for a new head coach.[2] The new manager is Roger Schmidt.[3][4] Ralf Rangnick was hired as Sporting Director.[3][4] Leonardo Santiago was released by the club after he criticized Stefan Maierhofer in an interview.[5][6]
