The 2011 Albany Great Danes football team represented the University at Albany, SUNY in the 2011 NCAA Division I FCS football season. The Great Danes were led by 39th year head coach Bob Ford and played their home games at University Field. They are a member of the Northeast Conference. They finished the season 8–4, 7–1 in NEC play to share the conference championship with Duquesne. Due to their win over Duquesne, the Great Danes earned the conference's automatic bid into the FCS playoffs where they lost in the first round to Stony Brook.
