The 201112 season was Albion Rovers first season in the Scottish Second Division, having been promoted from the Scottish Third Division at the end of season 201011.[1] Albion also competed in the Challenge Cup, League Cup and Scottish Cup.

Summary

Albion finished ninth in the Second Division,[2] entering the play-offs winning 53 on penalties against Stranraer after a 33 aggregate draw in the final and remained in the Scottish Second Division.[3] They reached the second round of the Challenge Cup,[4] the first round of the League Cup[5] and the third round of the Scottish Cup.[6]
