The 2010–11 Iowa State Cyclones men's basketball team represents Iowa State University in the 2010-11 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Their head coach is Fred Hoiberg who is entering his first season as a head coach. The team plays its home games at Hilton Coliseum in Ames, Iowa and are members of the Big 12 Conference. The Cyclones finished the 2009–10 season with a 15–17 record and 4–12 in Big 12 play and lost in the first round of the 2010 Big 12 Men's Basketball Tournament.
