The 2009 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational was a golf tournament that was contested from August 6–9, 2009 over the South Course at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio. It was the eleventh WGC-Bridgestone Invitational tournament, and the third of four World Golf Championships events held in 2009.

World number 1 Tiger Woods won the tournament, and claimed his sixteenth World Golf Championships title, which was his seventh Invitational title. He won over Robert Allenby and Pádraig Harrington by four strokes, and Woods' shot a 12-under par 268.
