2008 African U-20 Cup of Nations for Women
The 2008 African U-20 Cup of Nations for Women was the fourth edition of the African under-20 women's football championship. Teams Nigeria and DR Congo have qualified to the 2008 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.[1]
Preliminary round
- 1 - Benin, Congo, Namibia and Zimbabwe withdrew from competition before the start of the 1st leg. As a result, Cameroon, Nigeria, DR Congo and Mauritius qualified for the next round.
First round
The First Round matches were played from 4 to 20 April 2008.
- 2 - Mauritius withdrew from competition before the start of the 1st leg. As a result, South Africa qualified for the next round.
Second round
The Second Round was played from 30 May to 18 June 2008. The winners of both two-legged ties have qualified directly to the 2008 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.
