2002 World Grand Prix (darts)

This was the fifth edition of the World Grand Prix. Paddy Power became the first sponsor in the competitions history. This year saw a reduction in the number of sets in the Quarter-final, Semi-final and Final. Defending champion Alan Warriner lost in the first round 2-1 to Richie Buckle. Phil Taylor became the champion for the fourth time in five years when he defeated John Part 7-3.
