Season 2002–03

The 2002–03 Divizia B was the 63rd season of Divizia B, the second tier of the Romanian football league system. It was the last in this format (two series of 16 teams each).

The winner of each series of the Divizia B was promoted to the Divizia A and the runner up from each series played a playoff (home-away) against the team finished 13th or 14th in the Divizia A. The bottom three teams were relegated to the Divizia C.

  1. ^ Bucovina Suceava wasn't programmed twice because of financial reasons and was excluded from the championship.
  2. ^ Gilortul Târgu Cărbuneşti was excluded from the championship before the beginning of the second half of the season. All its results from the first half of the season count, however for the second half the team will lose all its games by a score of 0-3.
  3. ^ UM Timişoara was excluded from the league after the 12th round due to financial problems. The team failed to play two consecutive games. All its results have been cancelled.
