The 1st Indian Cavalry Brigade or the 1st (Risalpur) Cavalry Brigade was a cavalry formation of the Indian Army during World War I and during World War II. It was formed on the North West Frontier in September 1939, and converted to the 1st Indian Motor Brigade in January 1940.[1]
