The 1st Air Reconnaissance Regiment (Serbo-Croatian: 1. puk VOJIN / 1. пук ВОЈИН) was an air reconnaissance and guidance regiment established in 1955 as 211st Air Reconnaissance Regiment, part of the SFR Yugoslav Air Force.
History
The 211st Air Reconnaissance Regiment was established on June 8, 1955, from 101st Air Reconnaissance Battalion and 103rd Air Reconnaissance Battalion with command at Belgrade. With "Drvar" reorganization plan in 1959, regiment was redesignated into 1st Air Reconnaissance Regiment. With order from January 27, 1963, reserve locations was changed from Zemun to Batajnica. Regiments command has been transformed into command of 126th Air Reconnaissance Brigade on June 12, 1992.[1]
