The 1999-00 Utah Jazz season was the team's 26th in the NBA. They began the season hoping to improve upon their 37-13 output from the previous season. With a full season this year, they finished 55-27, qualifying for the playoffs for the seventeenth straight season.[1]
In the playoffs, the Jazz defeated the Seattle SuperSonics 3-2 in the Western Conference Quarterfinals, but would lose five games to the Portland TrailBlazers in the semifinals.
This was also Jeff Hornacek's final year of his career.
