The 1999–2000 season was the 11th season of the Orlando Magic in the National Basketball Association (NBA).[1] Coach Chuck Daly was replaced by Doc Rivers prior to the season. The team missed the playoffs with a 41-41 record, finishing ninth in the Eastern Conference. Rivers was named Coach of the Year.
