The 1998-99 NBA season was the Warriors' 53rd season in the NBA and 37th in the San Francisco Bay Area.[1] The Warriors traded Latrell Sprewell to the New York Knicks for John Starks, Chris Mills, and Terry Cummings. Golden State finished sixth in the Pacific Division with a 21-29 record.
