The 1994 NECBL All-Star Game was the 1st exhibition game between all-stars of the New England Collegiate Baseball League. The game was contested between the league-leading Bristol Nighthawks and an All-Star team from the league's other four teams. The game, played at Muzzy Field in Bristol, Connecticut, was won 6-0 by the Nighthawks.[1]
Ryan Fitzgerald, of Brandeis University and South Hadley, Massachusetts, led the Nighthawks offense. He went 3-3 with 2 RBI on the night. Wenzel Walker also scored a run for the Nighthawks.[1]
NECBL Commissioner George Foster after the game stated his wishes that the league be sanctioned by Major League Baseball. This followed a presentation of a letter of thanks to him during the game by the Chief Financial Officer of Major League Baseball, Jeff White.[2]
