Mersin İdmanyurdu (also Mersin İdman Yurdu, Mersin İY, or MİY) Sports Club; located in Mersin, east Mediterranean coast of Turkey in 1984–85. Mersin İdmanyurdu (MİY) football team has participated in Turkish Second Football Legue in 1984–85 season.

President M.Fatih Deveci has resigned with his 12 friends and has withdrawn from his financial claims from the club.[1]

1984–85 league participation

Mersin İdmanyurdu took place in Group B in Second League 1984–85 season. League played in three groups two with 16 teams and one with 17. Bottom two teams in each relegated to Third League, whereas top teams promoted to First League at the end of the season.[2] MİY finished 8th with 10 wins and 34 goals.
