The 1982–83 North Carolina State Wolfpack men's basketball team represented North Carolina State University. The Wolfpack were a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Following a middling season record of 17-10 (8-6 within the ACC), the Wolfpack had to win the ACC Tournament to earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
