The 1977–78 All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship was the 8th staging of the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship, an inter-county knockout competition for Ireland's top championship clubs representing each county. Four Roads of Roscommon, making their first appearance on the national stage, lost out to Rathnure on a scoreline of 2-20 to 2-8 in their semi-final. The championship was won by St. Finbarr's of Cork, who beat Rathnure of Wexford by 2–7 to 0–9 in the final.
