1976–77 United States network television schedule (weekday)
These are the daytime Monday–Friday schedules on all three networks for each calendar season Beginning in September 1976. All times are Eastern.
Talk shows are highlighted in yellow, local programming is white, reruns of prime-time programming are orange, game shows are pink, soap operas are chartreuse, news programs are gold and all others are light blue. New series are highlighted in bold.

Fall 1976
NOTE: In Fall 1976, NBC had discontinued its last regular daytime news bulletin, airing midday at 12:55 PM.
Winter 1976–1977
NOTE: Lovers and Friends was pulled from NBC's schedule on May 6, 1977. The show underwent "retooling" and returned to the air as For Richer, For Poorer on December 5, 1977.[1]
Spring 1977
NOTE: All My Children expanded from 30 minutes to 1 hour on April 25–29, 1977 becoming the first soap opera on ABC to do so. Also, as a result of the adjusted ABC schedule, stations in the Pacific Time Zone would return to following the same Central Time Zone schedule.
