1972 Iowa Hawkeyes football team
The 1972 Iowa Hawkeyes football team represented the University of Iowa in the 1972 college football season. This season marks the last season the Hawkeyes played in Iowa Stadium before it was renamed Kinnick Stadium after Iowa Heisman Trophy winner Nile Kinnick.
