The 1968–69 Seattle SuperSonics season was the second season of the Seattle franchise in the NBA. The Sonics finished the regular season with a 30–52 record in 6th place on the Western Division. During the offseason, Seattle trade their top scorer Walt Hazzard to the Atlanta Hawks to bring three-times All-Star Lenny Wilkens, who would serve as head coach of the team the following year.
