The 1943 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship was the 57th staging of the All-Ireland hurling championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1887. The championship began on 2 May 1943 and ended on 5 September 1943.

Cork were the defending champions, and retained their All-Ireland crown for a third successive year following a 5-16 to 0-4 defeat of Antrim.[1]

Format

The All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship was run on a provincial basis as usual. All games were played on a knockout basis whereby once a team lost they were eliminated from the championship. The format for the All-Ireland series of games ran as follows:
