1919–20 Dumbarton F.C. season
Season 1919–20 was the 43rd season in which Dumbarton competed at a Scottish national level, entering the Scottish Football League for the 21st time and the Scottish Cup for the 32nd time.
Overview
Dumbarton finished 11th, out of 22, in the First Division with 39 points.[1] In addition, Dumbarton lost out to Rangers in the first round of the Scottish Cup, after a 0-0 draw.
Locally, Dumbarton failed to progress from the sectional stage of the Dumbartonshire Cup but won the Dumbartonshire Charity Cup by defeating Vale of Leven in the final.
