The 1916 Ohio State Buckeyes football, led by three time all-American Chic Harley, was the first in school history to win the Western Conference championship. The Buckeyes defeated Oberlin College 128-0, the most points scored by an Ohio State football team ever.[1] Ohio State outscored opponents 258-29.
