The World Figure Skating Championships is an annual figure skating competition sanctioned by the International Skating Union in which figure skaters compete for the title of World Champion.

The 1908 men and ladies competitions were held from January 25–26, 1908 in Troppau, Austria-Hungary (modern-day Opava, Czech Republic). The 1908 pairs competition took place on February 16, 1906 in Saint Petersburg, Russia. It was the first World Championships in which pair skating was contested.
