Season 1894–95 was the twenty-second season in which Dumbarton competed at a Scottish national level, entering the Scottish Football League for the fifth time, and the Scottish Cup for the twenty-second time.

Overview

The inability to match the bigger clubs in enticing the best players had its inevitable effect with Dumbarton finishing 10th (and bottom) of the First Division with just 7 points. In the Scottish Cup, Dumbarton were knocked out in the second round by non-league King's Park.^[1]

Locally, Dumbarton retained the Dumbartonshire Cup for the eighth consecutive season, beating Renton in the final.
