The 1892 Virginia Cavaliers football team represented the University of Virginia in the 1892 college football season. The team had no known coach, andwent 321 and claims a Southern championship even though it was defeated by North Carolina in a rematch.[1] Those games with UNC mark the beginning of the so-called South's Oldest Rivalry.
