    18235 Lynden-Bell (1003 T-2) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on September 29, 1979 by C. J. van Houten and I. van Houten-Groeneveld on Palomar Schmidt plates taken by T. Gehrels. Like many asteroid belt bodies, it has an orbit of about 5,5 years.

    The asteroid is named for astronomer Donald Lynden-Bell.
