15609 Kosmaczewski (2000 GP124) is a Mars-crossing asteroid discovered on April 7, 2000 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research Team at Socorro.
This Asteroid bears its name since 2002 thanks to Sara Kosmaczewski, a student in Hamden (Connecticut, USA), after winning the "Discovery Young Scientist Challenge" science contest.
