    15071 Hallerstein (1999 BN12) is a main-belt asteroid. It was discovered by the Črni Vrh Observatory on 24 January 1999 and was named on 6 August 2003 after the Slovene missionary Ferdinand Hallerstein (1703 – 1774).[1]
