1443 Ruppina (1937 YG) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on December 29, 1937 by Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth at Heidelberg. The asteroid is named after the city of Ruppin, Germany, the birthplace of astronomer Martin Ebell, who proposed the name.[1]
