The 140 Squadron of the Israeli Air Force, also known as the Golden Eagle Squadron, was an F-16A/B fighter squadron based at Nevatim Airbase.[1]
On 2 August 2013, as part of the IDF's budget cuts, it was closed and merged with 116 Squadron (Defenders of the south.)
