The 12th Air Force Group (Ready Reserve),[1] is a combat-support unit under the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC), Philippine Air Force, particularly the 1st Air Force Wing (Ready Reserve) and is based in Villamor Air Base in Pasay City. Its headquarters offices are located inside the AFRC building at Villamor Air Base. The Group covers all Air Force reserve units in the area of Manila, San Juan, Mandaluyong, Makati, Pasig, Taguig, and Pateros.
Mission
The mission of the 12th AFG(R) is:
- Prepare its units in supporting the Philippine Air Force in the event of war, invasion, or rebellion.
- Conduct Rescue and Relief operations during National and Local Emergencies.
- Provide assistance in support of the socio-economic development of its AOR.
